Data Science - Modeling (internship)
Who are we?
Our mission is to accompany farmers towards concrete and actionable solutions to reduce the use of phytosanitary products while maintaining good productivity. Our solutions are based on the combination of agronomic and mathematical sciences and technology.
Contexte
Within the framework of the OAD+ project (Decision Support Tool), which Greenshield and the French Institute of Vine and Wine (IFV) are leading, we are developing a new model for predicting the contamination of the main cryptogamic diseases of the vine. It is in this context that we are looking for an intern who will work in the team that is working on this project, at the interface of the Mathematical Models and Data divisions.
Missions
You will be in charge of conducting the following missions:
● Carry out a search on the data made available by IFV: generate epidemic profiles via disease observation data, as well as climatic profiles, based on the meteorological data of the sites in question
● To better understand the descriptive models of the pathogen cycle designed by the Greenshield mathematical models team, and to participate in the construction of optimization methods adapted to the custom models.
● Set up training experiments, evaluation and validation of the model.
● Participate in the restitutions and exchanges with our partner: the IFV.

You are comfortable with data manipulation and have a good knowledge of classical tools: Python, pandas, Scikit-learn, deep learning framework (Keras, Tensorflow, PyTorch...)
